Sports Massage

Sport and remedial massage encompasses a wide range of soft tissue techniques used to treat musculoskeletal pain and injury. It involves hands on treatment using deep tissue and therapeutic massage; as well as neuromuscular, myofascial and stretching techniques (including muscle energy technique and soft tissue release). It is access to this wide range of techniques which means sport and remedial massage can benefit clients of all ages and fitness levels.

Our practitioners use a person-centred approach to assess, treat and rehabilitate musculoskeletal pain and injury. During your appointment we will discuss any pain you are experiencing and what improvements you are hoping for. We may assess your posture and functional movements; the majority of the session will be spent receiving hands on treatment on our comfortable massage couch. Your practitioner may give you some remedial exercises or suggested lifestyle adjustments to help you manage your pain.
